![]() ![]() The tag line at the end of the four page spread was – “A Pick and Flick Adventure.” Boogerman was a game that had tons of hype around it because it was going to be “totally nasty.” My brother and I ended up renting it back on the SNES, and got through most of the game. It was of a finger pulling on a piece of snot from a disgusting nose. The game is so well animated that it's like playing a cartoon character in a cartoon show.Ĭritic reviews added by Big John WV, RhYnoECfnW, lights out party, Tim Janssen, Patrick Bregger, coenak, Alsy, Riemann80, Omnosto, yenruoj_tsegnol_eht (!!ihsoy), sgtcook, Wizo, jaXen.I remember reading one of those popular game magazines from back in the 90s, there was an add that spanned numerous pages. Some of the levels are somewhat repetitive and samey.Ī very humorous platform adventure set in a strange world with a hero who uses his nose pickings, farts and burps to destroy his enemies. Each level exit is a toilet bowl, in which the hero jumps in and flushes himself down to the next level! The game levels are well designed and interesting with the main theme being 'gross things', you have levels such as "Mucous Mountain" and "Flatulent Swamps" which the hero would have to go through nose cavities, slime and other such gross things. The environment in this game is bright and colorful. The hero spits, nose picks, farts all with sounds that are sufficient rude. The sound and voice acting in the game were excellent for that gaming era. In game characters are never standing still, they walk about, pick their nose, make a funny pose etc, generally being animated and alive. The characters in this game, that is, the enemies and the main hero are very well drawn and animated. ![]()
